5 Action Movies You Can’t Afford To Miss

Movies are created to entertain us. Trailers can be often misleading and we end up disappointed at how much the trailer is hyped up when there is just bits of pieces here and there. Furthermore, the plot is totally different from what see on trailers and from the movie itself. On the contrary, we also have quality action movies that not only stimulate the brain into thinking, it also provides quality entertainment surpassing all our expectations thereby leaving us spellbound. Here are some of the 5 action movies you cannot miss. If you are confused whether to watch a latest film currently starring on Oxford cinema listings or one of these, then I would advise you to go with the latter option :

10 Most Memorable TV Cameos

My favourite from the list…

The cast of Seinfeld on Curb Your Enthusiasm
Seinfeld fans couldn't have asked for a better cast reunion than the one that happened on the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The episode features Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer who come back to film a reunion special at the request of Larry David, but little do they know that he has an ulterior motive for doing the show. He wants to use the show to get his ex-wife back, but like all Curb episodes, everything goes wrong and Larry's neuroses come out in full force.

The rest are here.

Boca

From the country that brought us intense and gritty cinema such as City of God and Elite Squad comes this thrilling film based on real-life events adapted from the autobiography of gangland boss Hiroito Joanides de Moraes.  Hiroito, was infamous as The King of Boca do Lixo (an area downtown São Paulo in the 1950’s notorious for its nightclubs, strip joints, prostitution, bars and drugs).

Acts of Godfrey

Acts of Godfrey is a contemporary comedy starring Simon Callow and Harry Enfield, written entirely in rhyming couplets. You could probably best describe it as Shakespeare with a very modern twist. Writer and director Johnny Daukes has created a truly original British film and he's done it very well. He's also a well regarded musician (his latest album has received glowing reviews - A False Parade) so, many strings to his bow.
